“You look tired,” Chetta commented as he emerged from the locker room. She usually waited for him and they walked back to the office together. “I wasn’t that rough on you, was I?”

“Not you,” he answered, smiling slightly. “Sometimes all this exercise takes it out of a man.” He gave a short, sharp laugh and shook his head.

“Perhaps next time we should make the session a little shorter,” she went on, misunderstanding.

“Perhaps we should.”

He wasn’t about to tell her it wasn’t the session with her making him so tired but the ones with the various locker room attendants afterward. If sparring with Chetta was shortened, he’d have more time for them.

For the duration of the time Aric and Chetta had been coming to the gym, those episodes had been going on: the moment he stepped into a shower, one of the women appeared, stripping off her suit and joining him. He had no complaints, but two or three such strenuous activities so close together had a tendency to make him want to fall asleep afterward. Several times, he’d actually locked himself in his office and done exactly that.

He wondered if Chetta had any idea what was happening or just believed his age was catching up to him. He certainly wasn’t going to tell her different.

I should be ashamed of myself, he thought, but he wasn’t. He was having too good a time,. They all were.

It was almost like his tanist days. Desirable female bodies that just wouldn’t quit…his own very ready and willing to oblige them.
